TEDxToronto
Oct 24th, 2012 by Not Far From The Tree
The big day is finally upon us. This Friday 26th of October founder and director of Not Far From The Tree Laura Reinsborough will be speaking at TEDxToronto. If you didn’t register as a delegate to attend the official event at the Sony Centre, don’t fear you can still watch a live stream of all the speakers at several viewing parties around Toronto.
Not Far From The Tree will be tabling at the official viewing party at Daniel Spectrum’s Ada Slaight Hall at 585 Dundas Street East in Regent Park. You’re invited to join in fruitful solidarity for this exciting event. In order to attend you must RSVP. Not Far From The Tree will gather to cheer Laura on for her talk at 3:50pm. While at the event make sure to drop by our table and write what ideas inspire you using ink made from black walnut husks gathered from Toronto trees.
If you’re unable to make it to the Daniel Spectrum viewing party you can attend one of the other designated viewing locations across the city:
Centre for Social Innovation Annex – 720 Bathurst
Centre for Social Innovation Spadina – 215 Spadina #120
MaRS Centre – 101 College Street Collaboration Room 3
ING Cafe – 221 Yonge Street
The Theatre Centre Pop Up – 1095 Queen Street West
You can also stream the event live online at www.tedxtoronto.com (but the viewing parties will be more fun!)
