Food Trucks for City Cider

City Cider 2012 is shaping up to be cooler than ever before. We are excited to announce some of the food vendors who will be taking part in this year’s City Cider event at Spadina House this Sunday September the 16th from 12-4pm. One of Toronto’s newest BBQ trucks to hit the food truck scene Urban Smoke will be joining us. They serve up delicious traditional and fusion BBQ out of their black behemoth of a food truck. I’m looking forward to their pulled pork, brisket and anything else smoked and BBQ’d that they may be doing, hopefully they’ll even include some apples!
For those with a sweet tooth we will have Pretty Sweet Mobile Cupcakery joining us. They will be baking up delicious cupcakes and serving them out of their magnificent turquoise truck. I can’t wait to see the beautiful and imaginative cupcakes they produce. All the vendors have been encouraged to use local ingredients where possible and incorporate apples and other in season Ontario fruit into their recipes. It will be great to see what they all do.
Rumour has it there will be apple cupcakes with caramel drizzle!
