Introducing Lindsay…

My name is Lindsay Campbell. I’m an Illustration student from Sheridan College and I’ll be interning this summer with Not Far From The Tree.
I first stumbled upon Not Far From The Tree while doing an illustration assignment in collaboration with Sustain Ontario. After learning of Not Far From The Tree’s intention to undertake a fruit tree mapping project this summer, I thought I’d offer my illustration services.
Information graphics are an excellent way to make people see things in different ways, especially things that have been in front of them but go unnoticed, like the abundance of fruit trees in the city! Infographics simplify more complex information or data, presenting it in a manner that is concise and also visually engaging. I hope to use my abilities as an illustrator to assist in the spread Not Far From The Tree’s message.
