My partner was hanging out with some kids the other day for his work. A couple of them showed their agricultural prowess by spontaneously offering up the fact that soil is acually worm poop. “Ew!” When one of the kids next proclaimed, “I love fruit!” my partner was eager to find out more to tell me all about it.
“What’s your favourite fruit?”
The response: “Cucumbers and cheese!”
Hmm… maybe this was a clever nod to the Simpsons?
Homer Simpson: Donut?
Lisa: No thanks. Do you have any fruit?
Homer Simpson: This has purple stuff inside. Purple is a fruit.
haha…if cheese were a fruit I would have been a much healthier kid! Looking forward to urban fruit picking this year.
